JAR...explore jesus unlike before
Why Explore Jesus? What to Expect at the JARWhen and Where to See the JARWhat do You Think?
Why explore?
That's a great question. Some people are naturally curious--always looking for the next life discovery--while others are completely comfortable right where they are. Although we have some reasons for exploring Jesus' life and truth claims you may want to consider, we fully acknowledge that some people will and some people won't. If you're on the fence, mull these over:
  • Something Inside Tells Me to...this can seem mysterious, but many people confess to feeling an inner compulsion driving them to explore Jesus. Because this sensation is very common, we mention it here and ask you to consider if you've sensed it, too.

  • Plenty of Hope...if nothing else, an exploration of Jesus' life should leave you with a sense of hope. Jesus was about hope--among many other things--and he recognized that all of us reach a point where we're flat desperate for it. More and more of us find our lives damaged by the junk of this world and hope can be in short supply.

  • Good News Always...your experience with Jesus, God, the church or religion may not best be characterized as Good News and we're sorry if that's the case. Followers of Jesus have not always done the best job of sharing the Good News that Jesus came to communicate. At JAR, we try to communicate clearly and respectfully the Good News of Jesus.

  • Why Not...many of us began our exploration of Jesus by mistake--there wasn't any intentionality on our part--it just kind of happened. You really have nothing to lose by exploring Jesus through the JAR. Why Not?

A Caution and an Offer
It's been our experience that when people make up their minds to begin an exploration of Jesus, things can mysteriously get in the way. We encourage you to work through these barriers and give exploration your best shot. If you ever need help climbing over these barriers or if we can assist you in exploring Jesus in any way, don't hesitate to email us. We'd love to help you get on with your personal exploration.
